This week I talk about shooting in the RAW (and I don’t mean nude) and taking shots using bulb or long exposure. RAW files give you all the information that was captured by your camera, where as JPEGs are just compressed versions of that RAW data. Part of the show was shot within Apples Aperture software. Now, I don’t explain how to use the software, but rather just show the differences between RAW and JPEG files. If you are new to RAW shooting, give it a try and see if your shots improve.
I also talk about how to get those cool bulb shots you see… whether its a lighting bolt or zooming cars, I will give you the simple secret to nabbing that shot.
And as always, if I missed a good tip or other important information, please post a comment on the blog @ http://thatsawesome.tv
Enjoy!
