I know, I know… this episode is a few weeks late. Well, I have to say… this is a lot harder than it looks! I’ve spent the past few weeks trying to decide if continuing this show is even worth it. Half the fun was getting the thing up and running, now it’s just plain work. Plus, I grossly under estimated the time it takes to produce and publish each episode.

But, I decided to not throw in the towel just yet. Today’s episode covers a few basics tips on taking awesome pictures. I go into the ISO / F-Stop settings and explain how to get the most out of these ESSENTIAL photographic settings to optimize your shots!

And I apologize in advance, I am still having focus issues with my camera. At first I thought it was my mistake, but I am thinking I now have a hardware or workflow issue.

Man, this was a rough one! First off, I am sorry for the delay. I originally said I would publish on Sunday’s… and here we are, early Tuesday morning.

Let’s just say I had some major technical difficulties, I’ll spare the details. But, if you’re watching in HD, you will probably notice that I am a little blurry – don’t ask – just know it won’t happen again.

You know how when you set out to do something, like fixing your sink or car and NOTHING goes right? that was this episode. I feel like sitting in front of the mirror for a daily affirmation (aka Stuart Smalley), Live and learn…

Anyway, this episode ran a lot longer than I anticipated, but it’s jammed with a lot of Awesome information on HDTV. Everything from display technologies to receiving HDTV over the air for free.

Now, this is not for you HDTV experts, so look away! but tell your friends who may be less knowledgeable.

This is it, the very first episode… you are in at the ground floor. Congratulations and welcome!

This episode is more or less a meet and greet / mission statement. I’ll explain who I am and what That’s Awesome.TV is all about. As I cleaned up some of the technical ends this weekend, I was too anxious and had to get something out in the wild. It’s a bit off the cuff, so don’t mind my ramblings. I’m sure as time goes on I will get more comfortable in front of the camera. This will mainly be a tech show, but I will wander off onto other subjects as I see fit. Make sure you check back for weekly updates.
