How about this… another week, another show! I wanted to discuss the new iPhone, but because AT&T still hasn’t shipped mine, it will just have to wait. So, I thought this would be a good time to start filling up my “Around the House” category.

We all have an item or items that need storage. This week I took a trip to a friends house to check out an awesome lift system he designed and installed to store his trailer. As you will see in this episode, I like to take full credit for the idea, although I had no part in the design or implementation.

And before you get any good ideas to do this yourself, make sure you consult a structural engineer, it’s not my fault if your garage falls down – FOR REAL!

And as always, if I missed a good tip or other important information, please post a comment on the blog @ http://thatsawesome.tv

Enjoy!

Thanks to Alan for letting me invade his garage. For more cool projects, you can check out his blog @http://www.panofish.net

    Ok,

Now I’ve used Scott’s ideas on lots of projects… My pics are small and easily mailed, my hard drives are clean, I’m saving up for my drobo, and I live by birds eye view. But this, this takes the cake. That was freakin’ AWESOME. I think the following clip best sums up thatsawesome.tv and everything I have learned.

You’re starting to find your groove. Keep it up man. It always invites criticism whenever anyone puts themselves out in front of the public. But, you’ve got an easy-going personality, a passion for your subject, and a knack for straight talk. Those are great building blocks for a foundation. I like the podcast.
